Mangulica Kulen is produced according to a traditional recipe and is made from the highest quality Mangulica pork with the addition of red pepper, garlic, and salt. All Kulen ingredients are stuffed into a natural casing. The Kulen is smoked for several days with the smoke of a certain type of wood. After smoking, the Kulen ripens to maturity for a few more months. Kulen ripens during the winter and develops its full flavor during the following summer. Kulen is a shelf-stable meat product with a shelf life of up to two years if stored properly. Kulen is considered to be the best domestic cured meat product!
